Family-owned and handmade in Melbourne since 1987, Molmic builds every frame in-house with mortice-and-tenon joinery and steel sprung suspension — furniture made to be sat in for decades, not just sold once.

More about Molmic

Buying a sofa is a long-term decision. Molmic makes that decision easier by building the things that matter into the sofa from the beginning: a properly constructed timber frame, durable sprung suspension and carefully considered upholstery. Each sofa is made in Melbourne, with the process from timber and fabric selection through to construction and upholstery kept under one roof.

The result is furniture designed to stay in your home for years, rather than something bought for a season and replaced when it wears out. Molmic backs its residential frames with a 10-year structural warranty, giving you confidence that you're investing in a sofa built for the long term.

Rydell

Generous cushions, slim shelter arms and a deep, relaxed seat. The Rydell is the kind of sofa you settle into and won't particularly want to get out of.

Aston

Level arms, level back, and a slimline timber plinth underneath. The Aston doesn't announce itself — which is why it works almost anywhere.

Herbert

A classic shape with softer proportions and a comfortable depth. The Herbert feels familiar without feeling dated, settling easily into both traditional and more contemporary rooms.

Barker

Piped edges, a slim timber plinth, and a deep, inviting seat. The Barker has a tailored quality that gives it a sense of order, while its softer proportions keep it relaxed enough for everyday living.

Montana - Chair

A curved back, neat piping and a shape that has a little more presence. The Montana works beautifully in almost any fabric, but velvet brings out its curves and gives the classic form a richer, more expressive feel. Available as a sofa.

Jillian

Gently curved arms, generous cushions and a shape that feels familiar without looking dated. The Jillian brings a softer, more traditional character to the room, with the comfort you'd expect from Molmic.

Hudson - Modular

A relaxed, softly tailored sofa with broad arms and deep, comfortable proportions. The Hudson as a modular can be configured around your room rather than the other way around. Also available as a sofa.

Dune Chair

The Dune is one of our favourites — compact, beautifully proportioned and easy to place. It has a small footprint and the swivel base takes it to another level.

Coogee

A relaxed, colourful classic with a softer, more playful character. Feather Comfort Wrap seat cushions add a wonderfully relaxed feel, while the Coogee brings a little personality without taking over the room.
