For more than a decade, The Original Daybed has been one of the defining pieces of our workshop. Its proportions, comfort and quiet simplicity have remained largely unchanged because they never needed to follow fashion.

Each piece is handcrafted in our Southern Highlands workshop from your choice of solid Australian Spotted Gum or Blackbutt, selected for their strength, durability and natural character. Paired with premium upholstery and traditional joinery, it is built to feel reassuringly solid and become more familiar with every year of use.

Whether it sits in a living room, reading corner or guest space, The Original Daybed offers generous seating, a comfortable place to stretch out with a book, and a practical spare bed for overnight guests, while allowing the natural beauty of the timber to take centre stage.

Like every piece we build, this daybed is made to be enjoyed for decades—not replaced after a few years. We believe furniture should gather stories, not end up in landfill.
